Healite II LED Therapy

The three different wavelengths of the Healite II LED system enables us to treat several skin conditions as well as improving skin quality. LED can help speed up the healing phase post procedure and has been shown to help reduce pain, bruising and swellings that can be a side effect of other treatments like Dermal fillers and Laser. It can treat acne and improve sun damage, eczema, reduce the appearance of scars, redness and the severity of pigmentation post trauma.

Healite II is a comfortable, relaxing treatment with no down time. The adjustable head is positioned to accommodate the area being treated whilst you lie comfortably in bed. Depending on the wavelength and the condition treatment times range between 10 -30 minutes.

You well feel a warm bright light during treatment.

Healite II LED therapy is suitable for all skin types.

The number of treatments required depends on the condition being treated and its severity.
In general, it is recommended for an initial treatment to have 2 sessions a week for a 4- 6-week period. A maintenance treatment monthly is recommended for certain treatments for example skin rejuvenation, for ongoing results.

LED therapy can be added on to other treatments following a discussion with your treating therapist, nurse or doctor.

Most people find their skin feeling fresh and brighter after 1 session. However, for optimum results a full initial course is recommended.
