Terms of Service and Disclaimer #

GENERAL

  • Our terms of service apply to any client who receives any treatment or makes a purchase of a product from B Cosmetics.
  • These terms of service can be changed in any way and at any time at the discretion of B Cosmetics.
  • It is the responsibility of the client to familiarise themselves with the Terms of service and review for changes prior to each appointment or booking of service.
  • If any component of this terms of service contravenes Australian consumer law in any way when applied to a particular disagreement between B Cosmetics and a clients claim, the default decision by B Cosmetics will be to comply with Australian consumer law.
  • B Cosmetics aims to avoid any topographical, grammatical, factual or financial inaccuracies within the content of its website but acknowledges that mistake is possible. B Cosmetics reserves the right to change any inaccuracies that are identified at any time at B Cosmetics managers discretion.

  • All of the information published on the website www.bcosmetics.net.au is accurate to the best knowledge of B Cosmetics management and is intended for general knowledge only. In no way is the information on the website intended to be comprehensive and we advise that decisions not be made exclusively based on its content. If you are to take any action based on the information on the website it is at your own risk and B Cosmetics cannot be held liable for any negative outcome of such action.

CONFIRMATION OF APPOINTMENT

  • An email will be sent to you upon making a booking either online or via phone to confirm that the booking has been made. Further confirmation will occur by an SMS being sent 72 hours prior to your appointment and ask that you respond with a simply YES or NO to indicate if you wish to attend.
  • Replying NO greater than 24 hours prior to the booked appointment will effectively cancel the booking and avoid any cancellation charges as described in the cancellation and no-show policy.
  • Alternative options to cancel appointments greater than 24 hours before booked appointments and avoiding charges are by phone and email clearly indicating intent to cancel.
  • Reply of either YES or not replying to the 72-hour text message will both be taken as confirmation of the appointment regarding the cancellation policy.

CANCELLATION & NO SHOW POLICY

  • We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to change or cancel your appointment. This allows us to manage a schedule and provide opportunities for other clients.
  • In case of no show or appointment cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled time you will be charged a cancellation / no show fee of 100% of the service cost that was booked.
  • This 100% fee will be deducted from you credit card and by making the booking you are agreeing to this policy.
  • We understand that emergencies do occur sometimes so on occasions the management team may at their discretion chose to rebate full or partial fee upon review of the circumstances.
  • B Cosmetics stresses that this will only be applied on occasions of true emergencies and the decision regarding refund will always be at the complete discretion of B Cosmetic management.

RESCHEDULING

  • At B Cosmetics we understand that sometimes things occur and rescheduling of an appointment is necessary. As stated in the cancellation policy, if the cancellation process occurs greater than 24 hours prior to the appointment no fee will be charged.
  • If recurrent rescheduling occurs (greater than 5 times with no appointment being attended) then a non-refundable fee of $100 will be required to make the next appointment and that appointment will not be able to be rescheduled without forfeiting the $100 deposit.
  • If the booking is attended the $100 will be credited toward the consultation or procedure

REFUND POLICY

  • B Cosmetics will not offer refunds, this extends to services and procedures if you change your mind within 24 hours of the booked appointment.
  • The policy of no refunds extends to all cosmetic procedures performed in the clinic of B Cosmetics. For further information on the cancellations please refer to the policy.
  • Treatment packages may be on offer through B Cosmetics. Treatment packages are not able to be transferred to other individuals.
  • All packages are designed to clinically be completed within a 12-month period and as such the sequence of treatments are not completed in the 12-month period from time of initial purchase the residual funds will be forfeited to B Cosmetics completely.
  • B Cosmetics will attempt to ensure that through a series of treatments in a package that the same practitioner will be available to perform all the treatments. This may not always be possible, and B Cosmetics is in no way obligated to guarantee the same practitioner each treatment.
  • If the same practitioner is not available to perform the full series of treatments, B Cosmetics is not obligated to and will not refund the residual funds paid by the client for the package.
  • If something has clinically changed during the sequence of treatments in a package so that the treatment type is no longer appropriate, then another treatment will be recommended, and the residual funds can be allocated to the new treatment.

PAYMENTS

  • Payment in full is required on the day of appointment or treatment. Unless otherwise arranged with the management of B Cosmetics the transaction will occur straight after the consultation or treatment.

PRICING

  • At B Cosmetics, we aim to adhere to the advertising guidelines as set out by the regulatory bodies of the Therapeutics Goods Association and AHPRA.
  • The guidelines restrict certain information such as drug trade names to be identified. All relevant clinical information regarding your treatment options that are not present on our website will be made apparent to you through the consultation process.
  • Part of the counselling process will be to ensure a full understanding and consenting of the costs of proposed treatment prior to the treatment occurring. While a quoted treatment price to a client will always be honoured, practice wide treatment prices can be changed and updated without notice by the management.
  • All treatments need to be deemed medically appropriate for the particular patient before proceeding and therefore not all specials and packages will be available to all patients.

CHILDREN

  • Due to B Cosmetics being a medical facility we ask that you do not bring youths to consultations.
  • If you enter the premised of B Cosmetics with a child, it is your responsibility to supervise the child and B Cosmetics cannot be held accountable for any harm that may come from a child not being supervised while on premises.
  • If you bring a child to your appointment, you will need to reschedule and may fall under the same terms of the cancellation policy under 24 hours’ notice.
  • B Cosmetics reserve the right to enforce a fee in this circumstance in line with the cancellation policy
  • Generally, only the patient is allowed in the treatment room. Friends can only attend with the express permission of B Cosmetics staff and B Cosmetics reserves the right to deny the request for anyone other than the patient to attend the treatment room.

UNDER 18 YEARS PATIENTS

  • even with parental consent we do not treat clients for cosmetic injectables who are under the age of 18 years of age.
  • We do treat clients under 18 years of age for dermal therapy-based treatments. The details and appropriateness of such treatments can be discussed in detail in a consultation.

PETS

  • B Cosmetics does not allow pets on the premises
